Eva Forde, Resident Rebel
Hi, I’m Eva: clarity maven, solution sage, and bombass life strategist at your service.
In a nutshell, I’m the one people call when they’re feeling stuck and need to work out their next move, approach a situation from a new perspective, or gain a better understanding of their options to go forward.
If you’re looking for the official bio, you can find it at the bottom of this page. But if you’re looking to work with me, here are six things you should know up front:
I’m obsessed with personal development and growth. My goal is to be the best version of myself at all times. Although I might slip, the pursuit is absolutely addictive and I love it!
I think the word “confrontation” gets a bad rap. I look at confrontation as an opportunity to challenge my assumptions, get real, and actually grow. I’ve seen the transformation it’s made in my life when facing difficult situations, and I use it with my clients as well.
I prefer the word “challenge” to “problem.” To me, a “problem” suggests something is bad or wrong, whereas “challenge” takes away the judgement and suggests, instead, that there’s something that needs to be addressed and can be done with playfulness, strategy, and grace.
I think the people who win at life know that humor, laughter, play, and not taking yourself too seriously are vital ingredients to ‘the game.’
I also believe that the people who win at life are very serious about being authentic, being open to new perspectives, and DON’T play games when it comes to their personal and/or professional development.
I’m convinced that anyone who has a wish to have, do, or be something they haven’t yet obtained can absolutely have, do, or be that thing — and that it’s only a disconnect in thinking that gets any of us ever “stuck.” With the right change in perspective, anything is possible.
We might NOT be a good fit if:
you’re not willing to take responsibility for yourself or the current results in your life or business.
you blame an outside influence — a parent, a partner, a boss, or a situation, for example — for the results you’re getting.
you’re not open to doing something different than what you’ve done in the past; defensiveness and excuses are some indications of this.
you don’t believe in some sort of higher power.
you don’t value coaching as a skill or think that it’s a waste of money.
However, we might work really well together if:
you actually want to see change in some area of your work or life and are willing to put in the work to achieve it.
you legit own your thoughts and actions or, at least, are open to being held accountable to do so.
you know how to drop the BS and get real and honest with yourself, no matter how tough it might be.
you can appreciate the value of time and knowledge that an experienced guide can give you.
you have a belief in the supernatural.
My superpower is helping you to identify and cut through the gunk that’s keeping you or your business stuck, immobilized, or afraid so that you can get on with creating the fabulousness of your business and life!
You should also know that I truly believe that you absolutely can have whatever it is that you want for yourself, and that you already have the ability within you to do so. My job is to make sure you know how to make that ability work for you so that you will.
